"A man or woman can fall many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame someone else." My bible professor told me that one day when all of us students began telling of our experiences with people at church. We are who we are, he said, don't try to be yourself and blame someone else for it. Be yourself and God will work out the kinks. Good advice.

"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in that which is much."
Luke 16:10 What is troubling you today? What has God told you the last time HE spoke to you? We live in an unpredictable world to say the least. Satan is a master deceiver in his plan to get under our skin and weaken our faith and walk with Jesus. I remember what a mon told me one time about a young missionary and his endeavor to be sent out as a missionary to a foreign land. He said, in order to be a missionary, a man had to appear before the superintendent of missions. His appoingment was set for five in the morning. It was a snowy morning, but he was there. He waited until eight o'clock. Finally the superintendent came and asked him two simple questions. Then he said, "Thank you. You're dismissed." The aspiring missionary said, "Thank you for your time." In his report, the superintendent wrote, "This man will make an excellent missionary. He came at an early hour without a murmur; that shows self-sacrifice. He was there on time; that shows character. He waited without grumbling; that shows patience. He answered very simple questions in a straightforward manner; that shows humility." When God asks you to do something, it may not may sense or seem important, but let God determine what's important. Have you ever thought about the word "Hate"? Here's a good saying I heard: "Hate is like acid. It destroys the vessel in which it is stored as well as destroy what it is poured on." I truly pray that if you have a hatred built up within, please get rid of it quickly. A good way to get rid of it is to forgive even if it isn't your fault. The bible says we overcome evil with goodness.
Difficulties come our way more times than we want, but life has a way of maturing us into people of character. Difficulties of life are intended to make us better people, not bitter people. What are you facing today and what is the outcome you expect to gain from it? The Lord Jesus can help you if you let him.
The Bible says "In everything give thanks". What would it be like if you had such a boring life that you couldn't be thankful for nothing? Be glad that you have a life worth living. I know people in prisons today that would give anything to have your life. I heard someone say once: "I cried because I didn't have shoes, then I met a person that didn't have any feet". Think about that.
Have you ever heard the saying "Love is never having to say you're sorry"? I think I heard that in an old movie once, but it stayed with me. Every time I do something to cause a problem with someone, this saying keeps coming back to me. I believe this is an example of what the bible says about "loving your neighbor as yourself". If we really do that, then maybe we would never have to say we're sorry again.
