We have nothing that God needs. Think about that. If I were to give God my riches, I couldn't make Him richer. He owns everything. If I were to give God my wisdom, I wouldn't make Him wiser. He is the all-wise God. If I were to give God my power, I couldn't make God more powerful. He is omnipotent. God wants only one thing from His children--our hearts.

My prayer for today: Lord, give us joy in the morning as we look to a new sunrise. Help us to live the day with joy in our hearts and thankfulness in our voice. You have granted us another day in which we can enjoy those around us and we will not fail to give you the Glory for being our God of Today and every day. Amen.
